BECKY COLE

Born in Coffs Harbour, Becky is a multi-award-winning media professional with a deep love of Shakespeare! 

Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (TV Production) from Charles Sturt University in 2002, Becky has taught screen and media for over 17 years, teaching everything from voiceover and announcing techniques to scriptwriting.  

As the previous Station Manager for CHYFM, she has voiced hundreds of radio commercials and her podcast series she produced “My Voice, My Ability, My Rights” won the station the Excellence in Community Participation Award from the CBAA in 2017. She personally won the Regional Chamber of Commerce Awards for Young Business Executive (Under 35) in 2016.    

Becky started her theatre journey as a member of Coffs Harbour Amateur Theatre Society (CHATS) and has appeared as Ruth in Calendar Girls (2018), Cherry in Cosi (2017), Belinda/Flavia in Noises Off (2016), Maria in Twelfth Night (2015), Helen in Birthrights (2015) and Linda in Mums the Word and Mum’s the Word Teenagers (2013/2014). 

Becky is ecstatic to be part of the QSE family and is relishing the opportunity to expand her Shakespearian knowledge and work with a fantastic ensemble.
