Georgia Politakis

Georgia is an actor and theatre-maker with a background in physical theatre. Last year, she completed Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre’s Creative Entrepreneur Internship Program, where she trained in performance, directing, devising and producing. She also studied a Bachelor of Arts (Drama Major) at the University of Queensland, where she received a Dean’s Scholars Award and a Dean’s Commendation.  

As a devisor, she has created work for the Festival of Australian Student Theatre and Backbone Future30 Festival. She additionally had a co-devising role in Zen Zen Zo’s production of The Unspeakable Dreams of Salvador Dalí (2019). Notable performance credits include Kill Climate Deniers (THAT Production Company), THE TEMPEST (Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre), Maestro (ImproMafia) and Their Name Liveth Forever More (Backbone Youth Arts with Brisbane City Council).
