John Siggers
John has worked with QSE since 2017 when he completed the Apprentice Programme, becoming a member of the Core Ensemble in 2019. He has worked as a facilitator on the Shakespeare Prison Project and has composed for and played in the QSE band. Credits for QSE include: Macduff in Macbeth in the Dark (2020), Euthyphro in The Tragedy of Socrates, Bardolph and Edmund Mortimer in Henry IV Part I (2019).
John is a trained actor and musician hailing from Kent, England; having trained with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, Royal Shakespeare Company, and Miskin Theatre; receiving an Undergraduate Certificate (Song Writing) in 2014, a Higher National Diploma (Performing Arts, Acting) in 2013 and Diploma (Shakespearean Acting) in 2012. After completing the QSE Apprenticeship, John has become heavily involved in the Brisbane theatre scene. He has also been a member of ImproMafia, training and performing with them.
