Rebekah has been working as an independent artist in Brisbane since 2016, and has had the pleasure of working with many local writers and directors to bring new Australian works to life. She is thrilled to be returning to QSE as a member of the core ensemble after training as an apprentice in 2018 and performing as an associate artist in the mainstage shows later that year; Hamlet and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Other theatre credits include: Squad Goals; Macbeth; Romeo and Juliet; May Contain Traces of Nuts; Delinquence (Sharehouse Theatre Company), Hamlet (4MBS Brisbane Shakespeare Festival), 21 (La Boite HWY Festival), Antigone; Hamlet (Heartbeast Theatre), King Lear; The Seagull; Pride and Prejudice; Where in the World is Frank Sparrow (USQ Artsworx), Hamlet (Growl Theatre), Romeo and Juliet and Friends – as director and writer (Anywhere Theatre Festival).
Rebekah studied a Bachelor of Creative Arts – Theatre (Acting) at the University of Southern Queensland. In 2019 she travelled to New York City to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Rebekah acknowledges that she lives and performs on the stolen lands of the Yuggara and Turrbal people, and extends her respects to their elders, past, present and emerging.
