CAMERON GRIMMETT

Cameron Grimmett (She/Her) is a Meanjin based performer currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drama), with a minor in Scenography at, QUT. In high school, she completed her Grade 8 AMEB Drama and Performance, and Trinity College Singing exams. She has been involved multiple shows both on and off stage, her highlights include ‘Olive Ostrovsky’ in The 25^th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Savoyards, 2023), ‘Hope Cladwell’ in Urinetown (Crescendo Theatre Company, 2022), Assistant Stage Manager for Calander Girls (Shoebox Theatre Company, 2022), and Stage Manager for Hedonism’s Second Album (Left of Right Theatre Company, 2023).

Cameron’s love of Shakespeare and theatre was kindled by her high school drama teacher, Allana Noyes.  Now, Cameron is drawn to multiple aspects of the ‘theatre machine’ and is keen to learn more with QSE – to further push, play, and experiment with the possibilities and ‘potential energy’ theatre possesses.
