BRODIE CHONG

Brodie Chong is an up and coming artist from Kuranda, Queensland. After making the choice during 2020 to pursue acting, he has had the privilege to work with amazing actors and teachers and be a part of some wonderful productions which has cultivated his love for this vocation.

The beginning and continuation of his training has been with acting coach Gareth Harris. With the body of work focusing on Theatre training as well as working in front of the camera. To complement this, he has been working with Dianne Eden since 2023 in one on one training (As well as with his identical twin) focusing on Shakespearean and Linklater training.

Brodie has been privileged to work in a number of theatrical productions around Brisbane. From starring as Trenton Sparks in Death at Bracken Manor (Mousetrap Theatre), juggling multiple hats in the Terry Pratchett production Carpe Jugulum (Brisbane Arts Theatre) and Manolo Costazuela in Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple – Female Version (Sunnybank Theatre). Most recently, Brodie’s singing and dancing skills were put to the test in his first musical in the Pirates of Penzance (Act One Theatre).

What Brodie loves the most about acting is the constant fight for people. Learning about people, their motivations, their behavior and idiosyncrasies. Acting has given the opportunity to learn about and from people,  it has fostered a love to learn more which is why he can’t wait to work with QSE!
