Bronwyn’s interest in all things theatrical began as a young girl growing up in country Queensland creating plays when and wherever possible. After studying at the DDIAE (now the University of South East Qld) she worked in Australia and in the USA as an actor in theatre, TV, film, advertising and radio. Her stop/ start career in the performing arts spans 30 years, stopping a while to raise 3 boys and teach drama as a Secondary drama teacher. Highlights of her artistc career include Queensland Theatre’s TIE state tours and main house production The Front Page, Velma Kelly in Chicago, Stairway to Happiness – a one person play, Cloud Nine, Short and Sweet’s Nun’s Gone Wild (Best actress, Best Comedy, Best Production) and Mixed Doubles. In recent times Bronwyn has directed plays including Minefields and Miniskirts, Clockwork Orange and Hello! Gaz Rhumbo!
Film credits include Stations (Director Jackie McKimmie, AFI winner Best Short Film), Dallas, The Message and Op Shop.
