DEIDRE GRACE

After a long hiatus from theatre (during which she and her husband raised two delightful daughters and continue to manage a successful business), Deidre commenced Acting Workshops with the Brisbane Arts Theatre in 2018 and completed a twelve month Acting Internship in 2019.

For 2020, Deidre  undertook two twelve month programs – NIDA Screen Acting Studio and Professional Screen Acting with The Warehouse Studio. During that time, she appeared on stage as Elaine (Alain) Raleigh in Ad Astra Theatre Company’s production of God of Carnage and in the role of Eunice in A Streetcar Named Desire with the Arts Theatre.  Deidre performed as Miss Jacobs/ Mrs Crown in the 2019 Arts Theatre production of the musical Ladies in Black and in their ensemble production of Bertolt Brecht’s epic, The Caucasian Chalk Circle earlier that year. She enjoys weekly Musical Theatre singing classes and dancing at 2Ballerinas Studio in her spare time and can be spotted in a number of QUT and Griffith graduate student short films produced in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
