Ella Eade
Ella is a passionate performer and recent graduate of the Australian Performing Arts Conservatory, based in Meanjin. With a love for both theatre and dance, her artistic journey has also led them to explore screen work, including student films, commercials, and short films.
Ella’s deep passion for classical text and voice work has shaped their artistic development, with a particular love for Shakespeare’s rich language and storytelling. Her training at APAC, combined with her dedication to voice and text work, has laid a strong foundation for her future in classical performance.
Immersed in Meanjin’s vibrant queer art scene, Ella is a burlesque performer and creative, and continues to study with the Bombshell Burlesque Academy. She draws inspiration from drag culture in their personal style, makeup, and dance, while also creating and teaching choreography as part of her leadership role as a student representative at APAC.
Most recently, Ella portrayed Oedipus in APAC’s OEDIPUS, and as she embarks on their next chapter, they are excited to bring her passion for classical theatre and bold self-expression to the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble. Proudly embracing her identity, Ella is ready to continue her growth as a performer, embracing her love for classical text and voice with confidence.
