Emily Potts

Emily Potts, an aspiring performer has recently obtained her Certificate IV in Musical Theatre and completed her training last year in the Performance Course at the Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre (BAMT). Her love of performing started at age 8 with some of her theatre highlights including Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Nickie in Sweet Charity, Elphaba in Wicked and the Governors Wife in Caucasian Chalk Circle. Over the years she has received numerous accolades and bursaries at the Sunshine Coast Speech and Drama Eisteddfod and was awarded the “Performing Artist Of The Year” in Year 12. She was fortunate to attend Work Experience at NIDA in 2017 and has completed Trinity college London and AMEB exams as apart of her training. She has produced and performed in her self-devised Cabaret in Brisbane and enjoys watching and supporting live theatre. The apprenticeship program is Emily’s first experience working with QSE. She is very excited to partake in this Shakespeare training opportunity and further develop her knowledge and skills with such a talented ensemble.
