Tenielle Plunkett made her professional theatre debut in 2015, as part of Queensland Theatre’s Senior Youth Ensemble. Prior to this, she greatly enjoyed partaking in drama classes, undertaking drama examinations, and participating in any activity that guaranteed her presence onstage. In 2018, she graduated from TAFE Queensland (in partnership with the University of Canberra) with a Bachelor of Acting and Performance. While studying, Plunkett was granted the opportunity to perform in numerous productions, including Leaves of GrassO Solo MioA Midsummer Night’s Dream, and 13. Since leaving university she has continued to pursue her love of performance, expanding her filmography and featuring in productions such as Have I NoneRegis AnimaHello! Gaz Rhumbo, and StrongerXPariah. Plunkett made her technical team debut in 2021’s Anatomy of a Suicide and was awarded Best Actor for her performance in Honey, I’m Home at the 2021 Short+Sweet Theatre Festival. She looks forward to studying as an Apprentice with the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble in 2022.
