Zoë Schramm
Zoë Schramm is a performer, writer and director living in Meanjin (Brisbane). Over the past four years she has completed QUT’s Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Drama and has been heavily involved in a variety of indie productions. One of these projects was her directing and writing debut I Don’t Really Know My Neighbours, which won Audience Favourite in a festival of new works by emerging directors. In addition to her own projects, Zoë works with shake & stir theatre co as a director and instructor and acted in La Boite’s first Young Artist Company.
Zoë doesn’t believe it is possible to be too busy, so she also occasionally creates and performs PowerPoint presentations about whatever strange and quirky story has been stuck in her head that week.
Overall, Zoë tries to create works that articulate human experiences in a whimsical, energetic, perhaps slightly offbeat, fashion.
Zoë is beyond excited to work with the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble as an apprentice in 2022.
