A Night At The Theatre

The Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble is proud to partner with the Red Cross, Arafmi, Brisbane Youth Service and Communify to present A Night at the Theatre.

This initiative extends our reach to Brisbane communities through the simple act of putting on a show, by working with our community partners, we distribute tickets to members of their communities who may not have otherwise had the opportunity to engage with one of our productions.

A donation of just $35 provides a ticket so that those who could do with ‘A Night at the Theatre’ can attend our productions throughout the year and for years to come.

“It was the first time I had ever been to a theatre and to see Shakespeare. I was a bit nervous I would not understand it. It was riveting and exciting. I understood it all and did not want it to finish.”
Julia, 2016 ANATT audience member

With community building at the heart of all our initiatives, we welcome your support wholeheartedly.

If you would like to give ‘A Night At The Theatre’, please donate in increments of $35 for each ticket you’d like to donate (e.g. $35, $70, $105) HERE.

“Social inclusion is a large part of the work that Red Cross undertakes with community, and evidence shows the positive impact that social inclusion can have on the wellbeing of people and communities. This initiative will enable QSE to distribute free theatre tickets, via Red Cross and other community organisations, to people who may not otherwise be able to attend the theatre. Red Cross is pleased to support this worthwhile initiative that will have a positive impact on many of the people and communities with whom Red Cross works.”
