Speaking Shakespeare In Your Own Voice is QSE’s foundation text training course designed to remove the distance between you and Shakespeare’s words.

“I was able to look at new ways to analyse and connect to text and character. Finding the relationship between myself and the character is one that I found completely important and very fulfilling.”
Participant, 2016

  • Explore the unique intersection between you and the character
  • Find pleasure connecting with an audience
  • Develop specificity, and the ability to think clearly while emotionally engaged

Participants will work on a monologue of their choice with the small class size ensuring that each participant receives in depth personal attention as well as opportunities to work as a group.

Speaking Shakespeare In Your Own Voice is facilitated by Core Ensemble actor and director Rebecca Murphy.
